Hi, I’m Hongyu, and I am one of the basketball coaches here at PEP. Basketball has been a major part of my life, and I enjoy both competing and helping others develop their skills and confidence. I also compete on my school’s varsity basketball team, where I continue to develop my teamwork, leadership, and dedication to the sport. Outside of basketball, I enjoy playing the clarinet. I serve as my school’s first chair clarinet and section leader, and I have participated in both All-State Band and District Honor Band. My favorite piece to perform is Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto. Whether I’m on the basketball court or performing on stage, I enjoy pushing myself to improve and inspiring others to do the same.
