Our Story
February 2023
PEP is founded
Two Gwinnett County students launch a weekly Singapore Math tutoring program with 21 volunteers teaching 32 students.
Summer 2023
First community programs
A basketball coaching program and a summer camp for children with autism, run in partnership with Truelove, expand PEP beyond tutoring.
2024
Growing every term
Programs expand into public speaking, coding, chess, crochet, and more — organized into spring, summer, and fall terms each year.
2025 – Today
A multi-program organization
PEP now serves 100+ students a term with 35+ volunteer instructors, plus food pantry partnerships, senior center visits, and a growing chapter program.
What We Do

Academic Tutoring
Math, public speaking, coding, and more, taught weekly by student volunteers.
Sports Coaching
Basketball and tennis instruction, plus league management for young athletes.
Special Needs Support
A beloved summer basketball camp for children with autism, run with Truelove.
Community Service
Food pantry drives, senior center visits, and support for refugee families.
