PEP Crochet Club
The PEP Crochet Club was founded in 2022 by Brian Ma with the goal of teaching children the fundamentals of crochet and encouraging creativity through hands-on learning. Since its beginning, the club has welcomed students and volunteers of different backgrounds, creating a space where people learn new skills and connect with others.
Over the years, Crochet Club volunteers have used their skills to support the community. Members have created crochet pendants as prizes for basketball players, donated crochet gifts to children with special needs for three years, and made handmade birthday gifts to bring joy to these children.
Ellyne Wu serves as one of the current volunteer leaders of the Crochet Club, helping organize activities and guide students. Through the dedication of club members and volunteers, the Crochet Club has grown from a small learning group into a program focused on creativity, service, and community involvement.
The club is now expanding its classes to welcome children and adults of all ages, giving more people the opportunity to learn crochet and enjoy the process of creating handmade items.
